Angela Toone, NCTM
I have been studying piano since the age of 5, with teachers like Patricia Kelsey Graham and Bonnie Winterton who fueled my desire to start teaching my own piano students. I graduated with a BA in Piano Performance from the University of Utah, where I studied with Gladys Gladstone Rosenberg and Jeffrey Price and took Piano Pedagogy classes. Loved it.
Now I have over 20 years of experience teaching piano out of my home studio in Utah. I continue improving as a piano teacher as a member of the Music Teachers National Association, even completing my National Certification in 2021! I participate as a local board member of the Utah Federation of Music Clubs and once I even took a course “Jazz Piano for Music Teachers.”
I’ve recently pivoted to pedagogy, teaching teachers how to teach! It’s a Musical Life!
