About Me

Angela Toone, NCTM
Nationally Certified Teacher of Music

I’ve been teaching piano for 20+ years with passion, and some of my students have taken on teaching as well. As I mentor them, I aim to pass on my knowledge and have created resources like videos, downloads and podcasts to help. Sounds cheesy, but I believe every piano teacher has the potential to make a difference, one student at a time.

How I teach a first
piano
lesson

I teach piano and train other piano teachers. In a beginner lesson, I work with my student Roxey as an example and teach two pieces on the keyboard, which were the same ones I learned from my high school teacher. The printable PDF includes the lyrics to the songs for your convenience. Have fun teaching kids! I sure do!

Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our clients say:

This kit taught me everything that I need to know about how to teach piano lessons. Everything is easy to follow. Angela had given multiple ways to do things which gives flexibility, but structure. I loved watching the videos and can’t wait to start teaching!

This course is going to give you the information and confidence needed to start running your piano studio today! It’s going to set you out on a path of success and help you avoid pitfalls commonly experienced by new studios. My favorite part is that it is not just a resource for now, it’s something that you can refer back to as you grow and develop your business.
